Certified Transmission recognized the concerns associated with online activity and the collection of personal information. We take these concerns seriously and attempt to protect your privacy by handling your personal information sensibly and responsibly. However, this policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Certified Transmission does not own or control, or to people that Certified Transmission does not employ or manage.

We operate with two separate remanufacturing centers and ordering sites, therefore, we will transfer information provided by you to the appropriate office, distributor, or personnel to deliver the goods requested. In order to provide service in an efficient manner, information provided to Certified may be made available to employees across our offices that require access to the information for business purposes.

We monitor all access to the Certified Transmission public website, and the information we typically collect and monitor information as follows:

  • Aggregate information on what pages you access or visit.
  • Volunteered information, for example, if you participate in a survey, included special comments or communicate with us via e-mail.
  • Order information (such as name, address, and/or credit card) needed to complete an online purchase.
  • Automatic information, such as when you place an order with us.
  • Receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address and/or cookie information, and the page you request.
  • May set and/or access cookies on your computer.

Certified Transmission uses this information to complete orders, contact you, conduct research, improve the usability of our product, customize advertising, etc. We do not rent, sell or share this information to non-affiliated companies. However, if as a result of legal requirements, Certified Transmission is required to provide personal information to comply with legally mandated reporting, disclosure or other legal process requirements, Certified will do so.
